Reworked coach sounds for DTG PRR P70 coaches
This is the P70 Coach Sound Patch.
This mod is intended to primarily add the passenger coach sounds from the newer USA passenger DLC such as:
1. Bogie run
2. Joint clicks
3. Flange squeal
4. AC hum (exterior and interior)
5. Door sounds (From coaches in German route DLC)
The patch will automatically be applied to the P70 coaches in the following packs:
DTG PRR GG1: (http://store.steampowered.com/app/65242/)
DTG Holiday Express: (http://store.steampowered.com/app/222621/)
***At the moment the door sounds do not work on the Holiday Express. Support for the Horseshoe Curve coaches will be added at a later date.***
HOW TO INSTALL:
1. Extract the internal package "FEF3CoachSoundPatch.7z" to a safe location. You can either run the included "RW_AssetSetup.exe" program or manually install the mod yourself.
***SKIP STEP 2 IF YOU WILL RUN THE AUTO INSTALLER***
2. Locate "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\RailWorks\Assets".
3. Drag the "RSC" folder inside "P70CoachSoundPatch.7z" to the above mentioned file path. You do not have to place the files into the .ap files as the game will read the files outside the .ap package.
4. Backup the original proxy files in the DTG PRR GG1 pack as it is not packaged in an .ap file. (Repeat this for any other packs in necessary)
5. Run TS2015 and test out the upgraded sounds!
I own none of the sound files; they are either owned by Oovee Game Studios and Anthony Wood (BNSF5608).
