Hello, and thank your for downloading the JHM Studios CSX GP40 K5LA Horn Sound for Train Simulator!  This horn, to stay with the prototype, was actually taken off of a real CSX GP40 (the sound, not literally the horn :) 

For your convinience, I have provided the horn sounds and files so this horn can directly be added to either the KUJU SD40-2, or the CSX SD40-2 from the NEC: New York to New Haven. 

Here are the instructions:

For the KUJU SD40: Copy-Paste ALL files from the "For Kuju SD40" folder, and drag here:
Assets\KUJU\RailSimulator US\Audio\Railvehicles\Diesel\SD40\Cab and when prompted, click "Yes" to overwrite.  Thats it, go ahead and test it out!

For the NEC:NYNH SD40: Copy-Paste ALL files from the "For NYNH SD40" folder, and drag it here:
Assets\RSC\NewYorkNewHaven\Audio\Railvehicles\Diesel\SD40\Cab and when prompted, click "Yes" to overwrite.  Thats it, go ahead and test it out!

As usual, before editing ANY of the files, make SURE you create a backup of the files.  Better safe then sorry, and you wouldn't want to end up damaging anything and not be able to repair it!

Also, you may have to adjust the volumes of the WAV files to fit your own tastes.  They are perfect for me, but everyone is different.  I recommend the program "Audacity" for editing sounds!
