A scenario for the Putman-Barstow, San Bernadino, Mojave Route. (Original route created by Thomas Bontempo).

The portland cement that is manfactured at Mitsubishi's Cushenbury cement plant is sold throughout the western United States. Occasionally the plant recieves orders for overseas shipment.Today is just such an occasion. The plant recieved an order for 60,000 tons of cement that is to be loaded on to a dry bulk freighter which is docked at the Port of Los Angeles. Your job is to deliver the last 85 cars of a 577 car order to the port. The scenario takes place in the present and will test the engeineer's ability to control their train through a 23 mile downgrade.
