The Odessa Turn is a daily freight train working between Columbia and Odessa. It usually leaves Columbia after Train #1, The Okanagan, arrives. All the necessary cars are currently sitting on Yard Track 2, but they're not in the correct order. Build (Marshall) your train on the CO Arrival/Departure track. The road crew will appreciate you lining them up.
Run the RW_AssetSetup.exe file to install the scenario. A list of required rolling stock is included as well as a copy of the Work Order. As always, you may substitute your own rolling stock using utilities such as RW-Tools. I’ve also included a copy of my map files to help you find your way. Remember that this Marshall instruction requires that the cars be sorted in the specified order.
The Columbia Valley Pacific is one of my favorite routes. It “feels” like a real railroad and the scenery is beautiful. There is a good variety of industries to keep operators busy. I’ve chosen 1949 as my era so I can run steam power. The Great Northern and Canadian Pacific railroads have made the move to diesels for passenger power.
This package is released as freeware. You can do whatever you wish with it EXCEPT make money with its use.
