Cimarron & Pacific - Placer Mining Scenario Pack by Gary (gwgardner) Gardner.
cimpac2PlacerMining.zip 390 KB
This package contains seven standard scenarios for the Cimarron & Pacific RR phase 2. They are a set of freight train runs and yard switching jobs related to the placer mining operations of Elizabethtown.
Feel free to use RWTools and substitute whatever rolling stock and engines you would like, but below I have listed what I used in making these scenarios.
freeware:
Ron Pertuit's 1890s Parlor Car
http://www.trainsim.com/file.php?cm=SEARCH1&fsec=0&fname=PARLCAR.ZIP
Cecil Kerr's 4-4-0
Railworks America file
payware:
Michael Stephan's19th Century and Early 20th Century rolling stock, to be found at his Golden Age of Railroading site
Britkits 0-6-0, Mogul, and Shay B
Note: I have run all these scenarios without a problem, but on occasion I have seen a pickup or dropoff instruction not trigger properly, but other times they work fine. However, all these scenarios use mostly general instructions, with moves to be figured out by you. Just pay attention to the first popup. It usually gives all the instructions for a logical completion of the scenario.
Enjoy!
