Milwaukee ALCO RS-1 - Repaint by Micheal Calvin
Based on the RWA donationware RS-1 by Rick Grout, with custom configurations and modelling by the author.
You must purchase and install the RWA donationware Lakeside route, or purchase and install the RWA RS-1.
Download the .rar file to your computer. Once completed, find your downloaded file, and unrar it into a newly created folder .
1.Start the TS2014 Utilities program and select the Package Manager tab.
2.Click on install, then navigate to the folder where you unrared these files.
3.Select the .rwp file and click on open.
4.The package Manager will then install your new locomotive.
5.Verify that the file shows in the installed list on the left of the screen.
6.Start Railworks.
7.Select Editor.
8.Select the route where you wish to add the loco.
9.Select Scenario Editor.
10.Select a scenario at the top of the screen.
11.Select Edit scenario.
12.Once the scenario editor opens:
a.Click the left center flyout then click on the freight car icon.
b.Click on the object filter (a small blue square with an orange triangle).
c.A flyout on the right of the screen will open.
d.Pull out the flyout and use the pulldown menu.
e.Find and click on 'RWA'.
f.Click on the the 'Lakeside' box making sure that it is checked.
g.Once installed, the repaint will appear in the menu as ALCO RS-1 MILW.
Be sure and read the operation manual for the RS-1 that came with the route or Loco.
Note: the J key will cycle the marker light colors red, white, green, and off.
