NP X200 Caboose by Rudi Jaeger (RudiJaeger)

NP_X200_Caboose.zip - 4.2 MB

Wood and steel versions exclusively for the GN X200 caboose included with the payware GN Wagon Pack

Description

Northern Pacific X200 Caboose; 16 JAN 2018
Repaints by Rudi Jaeger, exclusively for the GN X200 caboose included with the payware GN Wagon Pack (Steam Store).
------------------------------
The NP did not own any X200's, so this is a purely fictional offering. Both the wood and steel versions feature static numbers and markings. Sorry, but no extra road numbers this time, perhaps in a sequel. Credits and thanks to the original developer, Michael Stephan (GreatNortherner), for the original textures which served as the foundation for these repaints.
------------------------------
Installation:
1. Transfer the Assets folder (from this zip file) into your main Railworks folder. Note: There are no requirements to overwrite anything.
2. Copy the GN-X200steel_car1.GeoPcDx and GN-X200wood_car2 from the 'Default' folder located here:
Railworks/Assests/GreatNortherner/GNWagonPack01/RailVehicles/Freight/Caboose-X200/Wagon/Default
Note: Unless you have already extracted the "GNWagonPack01Assets.ap" file located in the Assests/GreatNortherner/GNWagonPack01 folder; you will need to open the "ap" file using the same program you used to open this zip file, then drill down to the Wagon/Default folder to copy the two GeoPcDx files.
3. Paste the GeoPcDx files into the freshly installed "NP" caboose folder. Mission complete.
Note; if are using your "own free-style" method to drill directly down to the "NP" folder containd in the Assets tree of this zip file: Please be aware that there is also a "Numbers" folder adjacent to the "Wagons" folder, the contents of which must also be transeferred to the existing GN Wagon Pack. This "numbers" folder contains all the "nil" decals which have been alpha'd-out so as not to display on the NP models, and they are referenced in the bin files. So the easiest and most accurate installation method is actually the three steps outlined above.

Disclaimer: These files are for your personal enjoyment and are not to be redistributed. This product shall remain freeware and is to be hosted exclusively by Railworks America. I am not responsible for any issues you may encounter after downloading the file; it is your responsibilty to follow the installation instructions to achieve a correct setup. I have tested/painted these files in free-roam scenario creation using the Montana Rail Link Route (by Zawal) and they work just fine, as long as "GreatNortherner/GN WagonPack 01" is selected in the assets flyout panel. Look for the "NP X200" entries in the assets-list to select each repaint. If for any reason you are having difficulties with the installation, please contact me at Railworks America, or seek guidance in the forum; there is also plenty of useful information available from the search function - please try that method first. Thanks!
I hope you will enjoy your new cabeese!
~ Rudi
