Mill Village Homes - by Jerry (SMMDigital) Conaway
These are now part of the RCAP Project.
Mill Village Homes for Railworks, version 2.0
Three different houses are represented in this pack. The first house ,SMM_MillHouse1, is a 1 bedroom affair that originally started out with a kitchen, living area, and outdoor toiletry. At some point and time, one of the owners decided to add indoor plumbing and bathroom to the back of the house. The house comes in white and blue paint.
Textures: Snow, Night (Porch, Living Room, full on). Polys - 2954
SMM_MillHouse2 is an example of a more elegant home, possibly that of a supervisor. It too has been heavily added on-to in the rear and side of the house. The porch is probably not original either. The house is painted in white or yellow with white trim. The number 4 and 4a version of these houses are MH2 without added rooms.
Textures: Snow, Night (Living Room, TV Glow). Polys - 2457
Although it is quite small and simple, SMM_MillHouse3 is the most modern of three homes, as it came with indoor plumbing, two bedrooms, living, and kitchen area when it was built.. This model comes in green, red, and aquamarine.
Textures: Snow, Night (Porch, Living Room). Polys - 2232
Each model comes with a 6’ deep foundation to facilitate easier placement on slight hills. The houses are placed 3’ above grade, but may be moved up or down as needed. These models have been stripped of shadows, as Railworks 3 generates shadows from the game engine, not the models themselves.
It should be noted that the window night textures on these models are not as detailed as the textures on the first model that I made. This is simply because I did not have permission to photograph these houses at night. Two of the prototype houses didn’t even have power.
