500 Fonts by Ed (Hawk) Hawkins
These 500 fonts came on a free cd that I got from the back of a book I bought about html in 1998. The cd was distributed by a company called Media-Graphics International, Inc. located somewhere in Colorado. This Company appears to no longer be in business.
Nothing on the cd or in the included paperwork gives any indication that these fonts cannot be redistributed for free. Scans of the cd and paperwork that accompanied the cd are included in the zip in the 'Scans' folder as jpg's.
The best way to view these fonts without installing them into your Windows system is to use a freeware utility called Font Viewer, available from AMPsoft at http://www.ampsoft.net/ under the Utilities link on the left. With Font Viewer you can view and install selected fonts without having to install all 500.
Please remember even those this file is free, the author still has rights to the file. Be sure to read the readme that is enclosed for further copyright information and instructions to install the file.
