To install, run the RW_AssetSetup.exe file. Then, copy all the GEOPCDX files from Assets\Britkits\Steam\RailVehicles\USRA_2-8-2-L\Default\Engine and paste them into Assets\Britkits\Steam\RailVehicles\USRA_2-8-2-L\LnN\Engine.
The models are saved in Assets\Britkits\Steam\RailVehicles\USRA_2-8-2-L\LnN. They are named “USRA 2-8-2 L LnN.” I have the dynamic numbering setup for L&N freight locomotive practices with numbers on the cab side, sand box, and headlight. You can edit the numbers for the particular locomotive in the Scenario Editor. Here’s an example: xxxx1534X1534.
The L&N owned 93 J-3 Class Light Mikados built from USRA specs. They were numbered from 1550-1592 and were used all over the system. Most of them were equipped with 10K USRA tenders but there were exceptions. Later locomotives had trailing “water bottles” to extend their range. I did these models and a set of L&N USRA Tenders to be used on the Kentucky 1939 route.
This package is released as freeware. You can do whatever you wish with it EXCEPT make money with its use.
