You must have the original model (BMG's BRA2Pack01 addon) or this won’t install/work!

The original pack already covers the full range of A2s and most loco settings are correct so these mods are mainly around adding water-scoop functionality, making water consumption more realistic and bringing the BR green into the same colour range as the other ECML express locos.

A2-Enhanced-v1

A2 Enhanced - v2

Installation

You must have the original model (BMG's BRA2Pack01 addon) or this won’t install/work!

The original pack already covers the full range of A2s and most loco settings are correct so these mods are mainly around adding water-scoop functionality, making water consumption more realistic and bringing the BR green into the same colour range as the other ECML express locos. As with the others in this range of enhancements you get the option for headboards and shedcodes suitable for the ECML.
This installation puts a manual into the 'Manuals/EN' folder - it's worth reading it so you understand what the pack is and can do.

To Install:
•    Copy the zipfile (‘A2-Enhanced-v1.zip’) to your Railworks folder
•    Unzip the contents ‘to the same folder’
•    Find the installer (‘A2-Enhanced-v1.exe’) which will be in the railworks folder
    – double-click to run it (you may need to ‘Run as Administrator if you don’t have full permissions on the PC)
•    The installer will start and present you with a window with an ‘Install’ button. Press it, read through the disclaimer, press ‘ok and it will do the install.

The installer creates a new folder (Historic) beneath the main BMG\BRA2Pack01\Rail vehicles\Steam\BRA2 folder, copies the relevant shape, texture and animation assets from the existing folders and then performs the required edits to the geopcdx files.
You must enable BMG\BRA2Pack01 as a provider for these to be visible. You also need to enable the 'locos' folder inside 'cunningn' for the shedcodes, headboards etc.

Installation Issues
1.    You don’t have the BRA2Pack01 installed - so buy it, install and try again…
2.    You don’t have permissions to run executables – try ‘Run as Administrator’
3.    Your Railworks folders are write protected – use RWTools to unprotect all Railworks folders
4.    The install runs ok but you can’t see the new locos in the game – make sure you have enabled BMG\BRA2Pack01 as a provider
5.    Your anti-virus complains about the zipfile or the executable – the installer has been checked for viruses but for your own peace of mind you can right click the files and ‘scan with your A/V software’ – then run again and accept whatever dire warnings of doom and disaster it throws at you ????
6.    It may prompt you to download and install the '.Net Framework 3.5' - this is ok - the installer needs some of these Microsoft standard files to work. You may need to rerun my installer after this process.

Copyright:
I do not (of course) lay claim to the models and textures from the original pack. You are free to use this as you see fit - but it would be decent if you were to mention my name in any onward use.
