CNW GP30 ReadMe

You must have the Union Pacific GP30 Loco add-on for this repaint to work.

This is a repaint of the DTM GM GP30 in Chicago North Western livery. There are 6 individually numbered engines
the CNW numbered most of their locomotives on the hood). They were originally repainted for my own use on the Adriana County Route but
can of course be used on any ex CNW route e.g. Fox Valley Corridor (North Fond du Lac - Oshkosh, WI) on Steam Workshop

The base model repainted is the work of Jesse James. I have added more numbers to increase the fleet and made minor repaint alterations.
There are Driver and Non Driver versions of each.

To install:

Unzip the 7z file to your desktop. Click on the file and unzip the .rwp file within.
Click on the Railworks folder and drop the "Assets" folder into your Railworks folder on your hard drive
or drill down to the DTM\GM GP30-UP\RailVehicles folder copy and paste the repaint files (CNW 811 thru CNW 822) into that folder.

In order to save memory and bandwidth you need to copy most of the DTM files/folders into the repaint folders as follows:
Take care on the last steps - the ENGINE folder see the note about NOT overwriting and the "UP and Shield textures".
Doing the installation this way reduces the files by 60%.

Open the DTM\GM GP30-UP\RailVehicles\UP folder and copy and paste the folders : Bogies, CabView, Driver and Simulation into each
of the DTM\GM GP30-UP\RailVehicles\CNW 8xx folders (the repaints just installed).

Then copy the DTM\GM GP30-UP\RailVehicles\UP\Engine folder and paste it into the each of the CNW folders. Do NOT overwrite the files with
the same name click on "Skip these files". Finally - Open the folder in the repaints download labelled "UP and Shield textures".
Copy both image files and then drop them into the Engine\Texture folders for each of the repaints. When asked : "Replace the files in destination"
- click on to do so. This will ensure that the UP lettering and Shield will not appear on the repaint.

In the Game/Editor
They will appear in the Assets list as EMD GP30 CNW 811, EMD GP30 CNW 811 ND, EMD GP30 CNW 812, EMD GP30 CNW 812 ND,
EMD GP30 CNW 814, EMD GP30 CNW 814 ND, EMD GP30 CNW 817, EMD GP30 CNW 817 ND, EMD GP30 CNW 821, EMD GP30 CNW 821 ND, EMD GP30 CNW 822,
EMD GP30 CNW 822 ND.

These repaints are freeware and you may use them as you will at your own risk except make money from them.
