Alco RSD-5 ReadMe

This is a repaint of the Britkits Alco RS3 payware available from: https://www.dickyjim.com/diesel.html  Kit 08 RS3 which
is required for this repaint to work, the cost is UK Pounds 5.00 (Paypal). Included in this kit are the files for
Alco RSC3 and RSD5 locomotives.

I apologise for the incorrect positioning of the locomotive cab side numbers which too high on the cab side sheet but
that is where Britkits have put them. In actuality the logo should be where I have the number and vice versa. I had
a choice of individual numbered locomotives or dynamic numbered and I chose dynamic giving 16 different numbered
locomotives.
It is not too difficult to replace the dynamic side number with individual and re-position the logo should you wish to do so.

Installation

Unzip the 7z file "Railworks" and drop the folder into your Steam\steamapps\common folder. Alternately after unzipping drill
down through the unzipped folder and drop the "Assets" folder into your Railworks folder(Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks).


Drill down in your Assets folder to Britkits\Alco\RailVehicles\RSD5\Default\Engine folder and find the file: RSD5-dlv-RW3.GEOPCDX
Copy this and paste it into your newly installed Britkits\Alco\RailVehicles\RSD53\CNW-RSD5\Engine folder.

Then go to Britkits\Alco\RailVehicles\RS3\Default\Cabview folder and find the file: w-RSD5-cab-db-RW3. Copy and paste this into
Britkits\Alco\RailVehicles\RSD5\CNW-RSD5\Cabview folder.

Remember to check the asset box in the RH upper flyout : Britkits\Alco.
The locomotive will appear in the Assets list (LH middle flyout) as CNW-RSD5 and CNW-RSD5_NC

This repaint is freeware and you can do at your own risk whatever you wish except make money from it.
