This is a repaint of DTM's U28CG in the Santa Fe "yellow bonnet" livery for freight locomotives.
The U28CG's were delivered to the Santa Fe in the iconic Warbonnet color scheme and pressed into passenger service haulin many of the famous trains of the railroad. In the later years they were used in freight service and over time were repainted in what was to become known as the yellow bonnet. Here is my attempt to re-create these using the High Iron Simulations DTM U28CG locomotive whichcan be found on Steam.
Run the installer or carefully put these into the proper folders. This is a little more complicated than some so be careful to follow the instructions carefully. After installing you will need to do the following:
First copy the GEU28CG_ATSF.GeoPcDx from the U28CG folder re-name it GEU28CG_blue.GeoPcDx and then paste it into the U28CG_blue folder.
Next go into the Cabview and copy the U28CG Cab.bin and the U28CG_ATSF_Cab. GeoPcDx files and paste them into the Cabview/U28CG_blue folder. Re-name them U28CG_blue cab bin and U28CG_blue_Cab.GeoPcDx. Now comes the fun part................. Open the new U28CG_blue_Cab.GeoPcDx file with TSTools and use the search and replace folder to find the \u28cg\ and replace all with \u28cg_blue\ and then save.
Whew, I think that's all.
Enjoy,
