Dash 9 in fictional Adriana County livery

Description

Adriana County Dash 9 repaint pack by tagsdm

There has been some interest in heavyweight power for the Adriana County route, so included is a repaint of the Dash 9 that is part of the PennCoal route. It's lettered for the freelanced Adriana County route by LtBligh, available at the Steam Workshop. If you don't have this route you're missing a wonderful modern-era railroading experience. Markings are fictional, as is the route itself, and autonumbering is used. The larger engines can be especially useful if you've built a Marlane bypass to allow through trains from Henderson to Clairbourne and back. You can run some really long trains from either of those two large yards.

!!!You must own the Norfolk Southern Coal District Route (AKA PennCoal) available from Steam to use this repaint!!!

If you have a full install of TS2016 then you should have PennCoal anyway, as the route is included with TS2016, full install. You shouldn't have to purchase anything in that event. If you do not have a full install, you'd have to purchase the route seperately.

To install this repaint, extract the ACDX_Dash9.rwp to a convenient location for you (like your desktop) and install using the Package Manager utility located in your Railworks main folder. You should find a new folder named ACDX_Dash9 in ...Assets\RSC\PennCoal\RailVehicles\Diesel\ after installing.

Now the file copying...

First, navigate to your...\Assets\RSC\PennCoal\RailVehicles\Diesel\Dash9\NS\Engine folder and copy the Dash9-NS.GeoPcDx file.
Then navigate to your ...\Assets\RSC\PennCoal\RailVehicles\Diesel\ACDX_Dash9\NS\Engine folder and paste the Dash9-NS.GeoPcDx file there.
Next, navigate to your ...\Assets\RSC\PennCoal\RailVehicles\Diesel\Dash9\NS\CabView folder and copy the dash9-40cw_cab.GeoPcDx file.
Then navigate to your ...\Assets\RSC\PennCoal\RailVehicles\Diesel\ACDX_Dash9\NS\CabView folder and paste the dash9-40cw_cab.GeoPcDx file there.

That should do it!

To use in a scenario, be sure RSC and PennCoal are checked in the editor. You should find 2 new entries in the locomotive flyout on the left. They are...

ACDX_xPC Dash 9-40CW
ACDX_xPC Dash 9-40CW_ND

Just select an ACDX_xPC Dash9-40CW, place it on the rails, add a driver and you're off. Use the ND (No Driver) version in the middle or the end of a lash up, or as a scenery item.

All credit for the model and original textures goes to RSC and it's associates and developers. I did only the ACDX repaints. Files uploaded to RWA only. Please do not redistribute.
