8 Conrail repaints of the Payware RSC GP9

Description

Included are 8 Conrail repaints of the RSC payware GP9.

The Consolidated Rail Corporation, or Conrail, was the nation's first super railroad created by the U.S. Government to help rehabilitate the Eastern railroad market after the failure of the Penn Central.
Conrail absorbed many Eastern and Northeastern railroads including Penn Central, Erie Lackawanna, Ann Arbor, Lehigh Valley, Reading, Central New Jersey, and Lehigh & Hudson River among others.
Conrail operated from 1976 to 1999 and was successful enough to privatize and its assets were split between NS and CSX.

Because it absorbed many railroads, Conrail had a massive pool pf motive power to draw from. Among this were many EMD GP9s. Due to their varied heritage, Conrail's GP9s varied immensely on details such as bell placement, dynamic brakes, operating direction and many other factors.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, extract the .rwp file and install using the Railworks Utilities application found under (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks).

2. Since these repaints use a payware model, you will need to copy and paste ALL the .geopcdx from the original model GP9 folders into the new Conrail repaint folders.
((The folders can be found here: C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9.))

The .geopcdx files you will need to transfer are called "GP9_01.geopcdx" and gp9_cab.geopcdx". To find the .geopcdx files you will need to look in the folder for the engine model that each Conrail repaint uses.

-CR_7006 and CR_7007 are based on the CN GP9, so copy the .geopcdx files from the "CN" folders and paste them into the same loations in the "CR_7006" and "CR_7007" folders.

-CR_7368 and CR_7362 are based on the Rock Island GP9, so copy the .geopcdx files from the "ROCK" folders and paste them into the same locations in the "CR_7368" and "CR_7362" folders.

-CR_7432 and CR_7434 are based on the Southern GP9, so copy he .geopcdx files from the "Southern" folder and paste them into the same locations in the "CR_7432" and "CR_7434" folders.

-CR_7435 and CR_7438 are based on the CNW GP9, so copy he .geopcdx files from the "CNW" folder and paste them into the same locations in the "CR_7435" and "CR_7438" folders.

If you have trouble doing this, check the forums at railworksamerica.com or PM me and I can walk you through this.

Enjoy!
