Included is a repaint of the Steam stand-alone RSC GP38 into a patched locomotive. Most patched jobs look pretty sloppy and I've tried to capture that look with this repaint. The repaint uses autonumbering with one caveat. I didn't want any one digit to be used more than once on any engine. That's because numbers are weathered and seeing two or three numbers with the same weathering looks goofy. So you can't get "2250" or "2333" unless you modify the numbers.dcsv. There are ten numbers included. A no driver (ND) is also included.

To install this repaint, extract the BN-Generic_Patch.rwp to a convenient location for you (like your desktop) and install using the Package Manager utility located in your Railworks main folder. You should find a "BN-Generic_Patch" folder in ...Assets\RSC\GP38BnPack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP38-2 after installing.

Now the file copying...
Navigate to your ...Assets\RSC\GP38-2BnPack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP38-2\BN\Engine folder and copy the GP38-2_BN.GeoPcDx file. Then
Navigate to your ...Assets\RSC\GP38-2BnPack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP38-2\BN-Generic_Patch\Engine folder and paste the GP38-2_BN.GeoPcDx file there.

Then..
Navigate to your ...Assets\RSC\GP38-2BnPack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP38-2\BN\Cabview folder and copy the GP38_BN_CAB_001.GeoPcDx file. Then
Navigate to your ...Assets\RSC\GP38-2BnPack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP38-2\BN-Generic_Patch\Cabview folder and paste the GP38_BN_CAB_001.GeoPcDx file there.
That should do it.

To use in a scenario, be sure RSC and GP38-2BnPack01 are checked in the Editor. You should find two new entries in the locomotive flyout on the left...

EMD GP38-2 BN-Generic-Patch
EMD GP38-2 BN-Generic-Patch_ND

Place an EMD GP38-2 BN-Generic-Patch on the rails, add a driver and you're set. Use EMD GP38-2 BN-Generic-Patch_ND in the middle or end of a lash-up.
