Readme Virginian and Ohio Railroad E8s

Repaint of the Britkits Freeware E8 based on schemes worn by E8s on Allen McClelland's Virginian and Ohio Railroad
by Thomas J Pearce.

** Requires the Freeware Britkits E8 and US Assets Pack from steam to operate Properly **

Installation:

To Install, requires a few easy steps:

IF USING WINRAR TO UNPACK

1. Extract the contents of this archive to a safe location

2. Click on E8_VandO.RWP and open with Winrar

3. When it asks for path, extract to C:\program Files(x86)\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Railworks\ , making sure it points to your proper Railworks directory

4. Double Click on the included "CloneMe.bat" to copy the necessary GeoPcDx files. When done, go enjoy your new assets.

STEPS FOR UNPACKING WITH PACKAGE MANAGER

1. Extract the contents of this archive to a safe Location

2. Open Train Simulator Utilities.exe and click on the Package manager (Third Tab from left). Click refresh and wait for it to load existing packages in left pane.

3. When done, click Install and browse for where you saved E8_VandO.rwp. Double Click to install it

4. Double Click on the included "CloneMe.bat" to copy the necessary GeoPcDx files. When done, go enjoy your new assets.

SECTION 2: MODIFICATION NOTES

This unit includes some extensive modifications.

overhaul log:

- Truck texture overhauled with improved artwork

- Wheel textures overhauled with improved artwork

- Main Artwork improved with addition of custom Rivet layer (Modded PSP7 template available upon request)

- Cabview aliased from stock cab to Kuju/RailSimulatorUS F7 (found in US Assets pack)
