Introduction:

This is a Vermont Railway GP9 #751 repaint by Diego Gallina.  It is based on the 2013 upgraded EMD GP9 Model copyright 2011 by Richard Cowen of Britkits (used with permission).

Prerequisites:

1. The repaint require the installation of and will not work without both the updated 'Kit 01 EMD GP9' and 'Kit 01 EMD GP9 Xtra" repaint kits from Britkits at: <http://www.dickyjim.com/diesel.html>.  These are freeware and payware, respectively.

Instllation Steps:

These skins/repaints install in separate folders in the Railworks main directory under: \Assets\Britkits\EMD\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\

Download the file to your computer. Once completed, find your downloaded file, and unpack it into a newly created folder with the name of the downloaded locomotives.

  1.Start the Train Simulator Utility application from your main train simulator folder  

2.Click on Package Manager -> install, then navigate to the folder where you unzipped these files.  

3.Select the .rwp file and click on open.  

4.The package Manager will then install your new locomotives  

5.In order to make the unit work, You MUST manually copy the *.GeoPcDx files from the \Assets\Britkits\EMD\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\Default subdirectories to the new matching subdirectories under \GP9\VTR_GP9  

6.Start Train Simulator  

7.Click Main Menu  

8.Click Scenario editor and start the editor  

9.Make sure that Britkits -> EMD is selected from the right-side fly-out.  The model will appear as "Vermont Railway GP9 751"  

10.Add the model to your scenario, save it, and play
