New textures for old default roads
Hello fellow train enthusiasts,
I've found that some of the default road textures are not very realistic, so as I normaly do, I change it. The default road textures are pink, and the lines on the road are too large and not to scale. So I've given them a facelift and made them look as if they were just paved. I have included some screenshots of the 3 different road textures.
Installation:
To install, just copy and paste the files (US_road_concrete_1lane.TgPcDx, US_road_concrete_2lane.TgPcDx, and US_road_concrete_4lane.TgPcDx) to the routes of your choice. You will find them in the following folder... Scenery/Procedural. Not all routes have these textures, but if the do it's almost always in the same folder. If need be, just do a Windows search in the Assets folder to find them. If you cannot find them, it may be because the route is archived in a .ap file.
Please remember even those this file is free, the author still has rights to the file. Be sure to read the readme that is enclosed for further copyright information and instructions to install the file.
