I really hope that you'll include all heritage units and the "George Bush Presidential Library and Museum" version and of course BNSF versions later on, but for the start the standard UP livery (with autonumbering of course) and the Southern Pacific (in my opinion the best looking) would be nice. !*salute*!

UP1995 in the CNW Heritage livery is AWESOME! Please keep it in the package.

I like the UP (#8444) livery, but the BNSF is also a nice looking paint scheme. *sigh* then again, so is that Rio Grande. (nix on the Bush paint job)

Why? Because of George W.? The engine is painted in honor of George Bush Senior and the Presidential Library and Museum named after him.
I think it should come later and the SP 1996 now.

I agree with u completely. I think we should have the original livery and then the rio grande heritage engine. I think it should also include the BNSF too.

LOL, I'm not gonna mix my love for all things train related to my political views. And I certainly do not want to insult or even debate any one else's views. Just a personal thing for me. Like I said, no insults intended.

(I used to work as a bartender, the manager told me first night, "2 things you NEVER discuss with customers: politics and religion") !!*ok*!!

Unfortunately BNSF won't be included in the initial release. !*not-ok*! I think we shouldn't only have the DRGW, we should get all heritage units. *!!wink!!*

p.s. arizonachris, I thought you don't want it because of the name George Bush, what I could understand. *!!wink!!* My fault. **!!bow!!**

George W. The President that tried to destroy Amtrak. No wonder the railroad painted a loco for him.
The Rio Grande looks great.
Keep up the sharp work. !!*ok*!!

Yeah I would love to have all the heritage engines. That would make a really nice DLC but if I had to choose one it would definitely be the DRGW its my favorite by far.

Sorry, but can't you read? !*hp*! As I said before the engine is not painted for George W., it's painted for his father and the Library named after him.
And now lets stop the disucssion about that.

The problem with the 'tribute' schemes is that they are a bit like Irish Theme pubs. They have all the parts but none of the authenticity. The better versions IMO are the CNW and WP versions.

No to the George Bush scheme because politics and trains shouldn't mix.

Folks - in order to keep this thread from being locked or deleted, let's keep politics out of it. !*salute*!

Only two? Well in that case I suggest UP1989 (Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad) and the standard Union Pacific livery.

EDIT: Maybe include the other Heritage schemes later as free DLC?

I agree with you 100% that would be a nice combination to start with and then like you said they could add the others later. Although it would be nice if they just released all the heritages engines at once. But if I had to pick two, one of them would definitely be the UP 1989 DRGW heritage engine.
