Still going Strong...

Unread postby TVRRMAN » Mon Aug 09, 2010 5:24 pm

Well, I thought I would drop a message on here to let everyone know that BLLW is still alive and well. During the lack of posting, quite a bit of progress has been made on our current projects. There's still a ways to go yet, but it's getting there.

nearly 3/4 of the equipment in our head-End package is running around in the simulator and being tweaked as this is being typed. three basic models remain on the shop floors undergoing work as they are tweaked for running and operation.

Some limited Progress...

Unread postby TVRRMAN » Tue Aug 31, 2010 9:59 pm

Well guys,

I've been busy in the backshops and with a few occasional breaks tucked in there. New progress photos of the R50b should be posted sometime tonight or early tomorrow at BLLW.net and linked into this posting.

Work has been ongoing with getting the critical details right on all of the models included in the Head-End set. Detail updates on the R50b included reworking some of my own grab irons, adding missing grabs on the ends, adding the uncoupling lever, tweaking and adjusting parts that seemed to have been in alignment and were really out of place to begin with, and adding missing brake components from the ends. this model is still receiving the roof hatches, side doors, and a few additional details underneath before I can chalk off this one as finished. Loads for these cars is another project all to itself.

The first Bonus car underway continues to give grief in that it refuses to show up in the Asset editor. it's currently been shoved back into the storage line to allow me to get models that want to be finished, done.

Once the R50b is done, the BM70m RPO will once again roll back into the backshops and receive a completed interior and then work will commence on getting a load designated to it. i intend for this series of sets to be among the highest quality set offered by BLLW when done. Stay tuned for more notes...

Glad I could help. While i was at it i did some reworking of the links section of bllw.net and made it more classy, while also more organized and professional looking than before.
