RW3 Legacy Add-ons

Unread postby GreatNortherner » Sun Oct 21, 2012 2:52 pm

Hi,

I've just created a new space on my website for legacy RW3 add-ons. As of now I've added four packs to that page, but I'll add a few more soon. This page will hold all of the add-ons that I won't be updating for TS2013, at least not right away. (Some maybe never.)

Some models might take a while to reappear, it is a bit tedious going through the whole process of updating - testing - repackaging - rewriting documentation yet again. **!!bang!!**

Thanks for your patience!
Michael

Hi Michael,

I'm sure this has been quite frustrating, and I appreciate the update. I am wondering, though, if I need to re-download these packages as you add them. In other words, once they are added to this new page, does that signal that they have been modified in some way that makes them work better with 2013 than the ones I already have?

Thanks.

Michael, I just want to thank you for your many contributions to this hobby. I probably don't have a single RW consist that doesn't have at least one of your models included. I think I have every one of your free and payware downloads and they are excellent. I sincerely hope that Railworks can work out something with their EULA that will allow creators such as you to continue offering quality products to the public. You do great work.

I'm a bit confused. Everything I have run so far since the update works just fine. Other than changing the gobbily gook what needs to be done? I would think that a one time "I agree to RSC terms and conditions if I download this" by the down loader should suffice.

Maybe that should be: "I agree to RSC's tyranny, and terms and conditions if I download this." !*roll-laugh*!

We have all been effected by RSC's new EULA in some form or another, there is no need to put salt on it. Lets keep this thread friendly.

Hey Micheal, I just downloaded the TOFC Legacy pack 2 and tried to download the Eastern pack and wound up with the same download as the Western Pack. !*don-know!*

just letting you know that the Pack 1 download is the same as the 2nd pack.

Cheers,

Thanks for alerting Micheal for me about this! I had also emailed him personally about the issue and I got a response saying it should be fixed tomorrow. This should help those who want to download the Eastern early TOFC pack. I will download them tomorrow and let you know if the download has been corrected.
