Question: How to pack up sets of scenarios

I like writing scenarios in sets. I feel that an hour is plenty to drive at a time and try to keep them under an hour. So I break them up for longer scenarios. And because loading a save game does not always work the way you expect it to. But I was wondering about whether I should RWP them all together or make individual scenarios for posting?? I am almost ready to upload the rest of the NERW equipment and the scenarios will start after that. First to come will be a 5 scenario set working the Tropicana plant at Foss on the NERW.

I did this once with a set of three scenarios and just used the RW packager to select each of them in the left-hand panel, move them into the packaging panel on the right, and so on. A good thing to do before actually creating the package is to check each scenario's contents and uncheck the "current save" entry, if it is present. The resultant RWP package will install all the scenarios in the package. I think that this method is more convenient for the eventual installer, who only has to find and install one package rather than one for each scenario.

Thanks for the relpy Tom, I do always uncheck the save file otherwise if someone plays it they will crash.

Exactly! I figured that you knew about this, but felt it was worth including for the sake of others who might not.

By the way, I just saw this in your NERW at your forum: "WYEs yes, turntables no. Can only use turntables in freeroam, I figured whats the point." Actually, turntables do have limited use in standard scenarios, but it may have to be clandestine. For example of a legitimate use, an engine or train can be instructed to cross a turntable if the track it departs from and the track it moves to are directly across from each other along the turntable's diameter. Illegitimately, a player driver can be instructed verbally (i.e., not using a drive to instruction) to drive to a turntable and use it to reverse the direction of his engine. The trick then is to remember which end of the engine to use for pick-ups!

Yep I figured those things out, thats why there are two turntables on the route. I wish I would have aligned them with the tracks, but too late now. They were not an easy task at all. About the hardest thing to make work on the route.
