Looking for a volunteer or two or six for a little route building

Unread postby buzz456 » Sat Jan 17, 2026 2:19 pm

As some of you know I started the Winchester and Western route a couple of years back, the idea being it would be a donation ware route to help support the web site. Wally did all of the track work which is done. I proceeded to put down scenery for months and got kind of burned out on it.
What I'm looking for is some folks to help out getting this thing done. If you are interested contact me by PM. If you raise your hand there will be no pressure to stay with this until the end just for as long as you're having fun.
Any questions either here or by PM.

See this thread: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=24617

I have the Gore to Winchester pretty much done including the town of Winchester but the rest of it has yet to have scenery put down on it. Track is finished and no signalling.

If you go south of Winchester down where the branch to Gore starts you will see the scenery ends. Just work you way South. I'm going north. Do you need a list of assets I'm using?

Yes please, would be useful. If I have to use others I'll let you know. I'm doing a "Route Markers" file. I've included all sidings and spurs (having identified the industry where possible).

I will be glad to produce a number of scenarios. Unfortunately, I have zero experience with route building.

Stand by for a bit while we get a few things organized and one of us will get in touch.
