Update from Searchlight Simulations

We've got a lot of irons in the fire, but the team has expanded to meet the demand, so here's a quick status update!
The SD70ACUs and GP40PH-2s are getting closer, now pending simulation and final touch up work on the cabs/implementation.
Audie has done a great job with the models, now it's up to Kev to make them have that real world appeal!
Along with that, we've got the Comet II's that are being developed by Nick, those are buzzing along nicely with audio work pretty much done with some help from TAS and friends whom have an extensive audio library for commuter equipment.
The UP C44AC-CTE has been 'delayed' with an indefinite time period, and allow for us to explain why:
We're not quite satisfied with simply utilizing the same simulation that the CP model used, so more ground work has been put in for getting the simulation even more correct. We're at a good stage in development here as well. Basically parallel with the other two locomotive projects.
Freight Pack 3 is in QA clean up process just resolving some errors experienced prior to release.
Lastly, we've been steadily improving workflows across the books, introducing technology to expedite the content creation process and ensure accurate work across the board for all of our current and future projects. We'll have more news soon, hopefully pending release of the aforementioned projects.

Whatever the relationship between Searchlight Simulations and this forum, this is a forum about train simulation, the news is germane to the hobby.

Thank you for sharing this news. I saw this on their page as well, but I personally am glad news like this gets posted here. I try to check other sites for news as well, but I don’t check them as often as this one.

Searchlight Simulations are an important part of the hobby and also part of our community. Sometimes communities don't get along as well as they might (someone has a bad day or three) but we are still a community and as such dependent on each other be it consumers or suppliers (and I include freeware doers as suppliers), some are both at the same time. Without both consumers and suppliers we have no hobby and the darkness falls.............................................

I just wish they would resolve the issues with the UP, NS, and BN SD40-2's and make those available again. There are a number of scenarios and repaints that are dependent on these base models.

The good news is that among the community of commercial developers, the vast majority are supportive of each other, respect each others' work and talents, most often consider each other friends, and in fact actively and frequently collaborate (as can be seen in the credits of any number of recent and forthcoming TSC routes and products).
