I've noticed a couple of things on Castle Rock related to AI. (I've also noticed a couple of posts on it, too....)
Ok, on the Call of Duty scenario, I was able to complete it fine, without problem. There was a recent post about issues with the AI trains, and I noticed something peculiar... I was heading southbound... the northbound signal was yellow, and then turned red just... so I'm thinking, oh, an AI train is heading north, just got into this block. I should see him in a minute... Well, I checked the map,and the NB AI was in the NEXT block.
As I entered the next block, the NB signal was green... and there was the AI NB.... So my theory is either:
1. Something is wrong with Castle Rock signalling
2. Something is wrong with AI in general
3. Something is wrong with this scenario
My suspicions are further enhanced by the misbehavior of the Road Time scenario on Castle Rock that came with the SW1500 addon. It could just be that scenario, also. Some turnouts appear to be locked up by an AI freight that is two trains up the line... very confusing.
