Texas and Pacific 2-10-2 Driver Animation

Unread postby GenesisFan99 » Sat May 02, 2020 8:35 pm

With the release of the B&LE Route as freeware, I immediately installed it and went to install repaints. I installed the T&P 2-10-2 available on the file library, and the drive wheels do not turn, nor do the rods. However, the trailing truck wheels do turn. The locomotive functions normally otherwise, but I would like to have animated wheels. Any help is much appreciated.

I didn't have that loaded but installed it and it works. Carefully review the installation instructions. I think you may have missed one of the files or folders. I am assuming your default one works OK. !!det!!

Yeah my default version works ok, same with a few other 2-10-2 repaints by the same author. Those had the same installation process. I'll look at it again and see what I might have done wrong.

Installed everything again after reviewing the directions, no dice. What a strange issue. I've never seen this before. The front truck animation works fine as does the rear truck, but the drivers still don't spin. Like I said, the locomotive does function normally otherwise and moves like it should, but the drivers do not spin.

The only other thing I can suggest is to delete the whole thing and re-install. If that doesn't work then re-down load it and re-install. Like I said after you brought the problem up I D/L it and installed and it works just fine so it's something on your end.

Will try that. The interesting thing though is I was able to replicate this on another computer, so I really have no idea why this issue is happening.
