Thanks everyone! I'll put on the final touches (winter versions) and get them ready for the library. Sometimes I think the read-me files and admin-prep take longer than the paintwork, so not sure if they'll be available this Sunday or the next.

I still need to experiment with deleting the "PRR_antenna" entry in the geo-file to see if I can get rid of the roof antennae. If it works, I'll include instructions on how to do it. I did not see any child-object entries for them in any of the bin-files.

Hopefully these "stunt-doubles" will fill the bill until some aspiring modeller can produce some real ones. The Milwaukee Road had such unique equipment and route features, I'm surprised more developers haven't explored the possibilities. Anyway, back to work!

Cheers! !!howdy!!

Edit: for anyone who hasn't figured it out yet *!!wink!!* the required dlc for these repaints can be found at the Steam Store: https://store.steampowered.com/app/9805 ... nid=958135

Update: Files have been submitted. I tried removing the PRRantenna entry from the geo-file, but the roof antennae remain, so we'll just have to pretend the CMStP&P used them too; this repaint is all about pretending anyway, right? ..If anyone else can figure it out, please describe how you did it. I also refined the detail on the stainless nose-panel; before & after pics below:

A few more completion shots including an actual vintage shot in the Cascades:

Please post some shots once you get 'em; I'd like to see how folks are putting them to good use. Cheers! !!howdy!!

Holy Smokes! Sir, you have some serious talent! That is a outstanding bit of work there!

The only thing left to model is the Jane Russel look alike, the cowboy and the horse to make it look just like the picture!

Looks great to me Rudi!

I'm doubly impressed with your creative substitute of the Foss River trestle for Mine Creek! !*brav*!

Just WOW!

Looks just like a 1950's poster!

The color match on the locomotive and rolling stock to the real thing are just amazing. I have reskinned a few items and I know that what you see in the graphics program is not necessarily what it looks like in game. You must have serious gray hairs from monkeying around until you got it right.

Thanks Boosted and IronCat !!howdy!!

I can't take credit for the trestle; it was already there on the GN-Cascadian route. I thought the locale matched the r/w photo fairly closely; still not sure if it's the same place.

The orange was matched to the Hiawatha Passenger Car re-paints by Mike (MadMike1024) Calvin:
http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/d ... e-repaints
The maroon and grey were sampled from color photos. A very subtle weathering was applied to blend everything together. But yes, it's a pain sometimes to get things looking authentic under the in-game lighting conditions; much depends on the route's conditions as well I think.

Cheers!
