No tracks on South Colton, Cajon Pass & California Desert

Unread postby daniellouwrens » Wed Dec 12, 2018 2:46 pm

Hi

I downloaded the file South Colton FINAL.rar from the file library,
it is listed under South Colton, Cajon Pass & California Desert and
shown in RW as "West Colton Yard, Cajon Pass & Mojave Desert
Railroading FINAL".

When running any of the supplied freeroam scenarios there are
no tracks showing, this happens with both 32 and 64 versions.

I have run this through RW_Tools and no missing files are reported
except a texture file which I sorted out before I tried to run anything
but perhaps I am looking for the wrong thing.

What should I be looking for, missing file, configuration etc. to fix this.

Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Daniel

The important route referenced is Barstow, Cajon Pass, San Bernardino route, It is stated that he believes it is still available, however I can not find any route so named through Steam. I can only see Cajon pass available. A complete route assets list is also not available. It is suggested to install and use RW_Tools to find what the missing assets are. IMHO not the best way to upload a route file. However his efforts are appreciated.

Hi

I have all the previously released Barstow, Cajon Pass, San Bernardino route files,
these were all from Otto and all worked well.

My problem is that I do not know what to look for in terms of missing files.

Cheers

Use RW_Tools to check the route and it will give you a complete list of missing files

Tracks are usually in lofts.

Not that it matters that much, but Tracks and Lofts, and lets not forget Roads are all in their own folders in the Network folder, along with each of these Linear Object's .bin files. Just wanted to say that for the benefit of those who may not know the proper placement.

This is what is in the network folder. Should there be another Track Tiles folder corresponding to Tracks.bin.MANUAL-STRAIGHT-MAINLINE? RW_Tools can not find any missing files.

I repeat has anyone got this to run properly? There should be some kind of file in the Kuju route template folder. I don't have that for sure.
