Is the FS market saturated with planes and airports? How does DTG's DLC compare to third parties' stuff?
From Railworks, I think my needs are pretty satisfied by now. I only got the Konstanz-Villingen route at 50% off, since it was created by virtualRailroads, one of the few developers 100% dedicated to quality.
I don’t know if it’s a good or bad sign. I don’t know if they’ll ever release the tools needed to create content. But I do enjoy driving it, so I got the GWR on sale.
As for the FSW stuff, I don’t have any DLC, but their default aircraft have improved significantly. I really enjoy flying the Cherokee. It’s well done, and, visually, the equal of any payware. It’s flies correctly, with good mechanical system modeling. I’ll probably get the Just Planes Arrow when it goes on sale. I have it for XPlane, and it’s the best GA aircraft you can get for that sim. I like that FSW keeps making very big steps in the right direction.
Mostly, though, I just wanted to thank you for pointing out the Konstanz route. It flew under my radar. I don’t pay much attention to the German stuff. This, though, is an excellent route. One of the best. Thanks for the tip.
