Problems with Eyein12 content

Unread postby Whatzizname » Sun Mar 12, 2017 3:58 am

Hey so I have a few problems with Eyein12 content of which I purchased installed yesterday so imma list the ones i have discovered, anyone think they could help me? I believe I have installed the content correctly, but if I have not, say missed a file or something, feel free to let me know

GP60M: No Engine sound, Locomotive works, but seems to be missing a few sounds
B40-8: So on some models (BNSF, NS, CR) the engine just shuts down and refuses to start back up, engine sound seems to be minimalistic or just not there and on all (ExSF, BNSF, NS, CR UP) the horn sounds like an old Single Tone horn
Everything From the Seattle Addon just crashes the game as soon as I load into it
Seemingly any custom rolling stock crashes the game too

The rest appear to be working fine, but i have not fully tested them due to lack of time

Also my game is much more unstable than it normally is? anyone got some fixes they can suggest?

If you do a search, some of these items have been addressed already in their product threads.

Do a search in the Seattle Route folder in your Railworks folder for 'Pontrack.bin' and delete all occurrences of it. That should sort out your crashing.

The B40-8 does that 'shut down' thing in Quick drive only. Fine in other scenarios.

I'm not sure about the GP60M sound issue, will have to check it when I get home.

I shall try the B40 outside of quickdrive, With seattle I have already deleted the PONtrack.bin files, as in the email it states to do it, yet i still crash, maybe its linked to all the freight rollingstock from eyein12 causing crashes?

Make sure you do a thorough search for the pontracks. It often lurks in more than one place. I have never had any crashing issues caused by any of his items other than that.
