Todays little update..

Underframe lightly worn up, subtle rust added, not heavy though, just enough...
Conrail logos on side, front, and back in place.... What's left of them thanks to vandals, rust, and fading.. ;)
Some random graffiti on the front coupling area.
Railings done

Awesome work Bill.... **!!bow!!**
I like the little touch on the front nose just under the left number board..... !*brav*!
Sorry for being a rivet counter on a spectacular job, the only constructive criticism I have is that the the front second grill / vent on the left side looks too new without the weathering and stands out.

Well done!!

Thanks you.

Ha, someone finally noticed the nose art. :)

The grills I haven't touched yet post initial rust/weathering adding.. They will be a pain in the [fill in the blank] and saving it for last. :)

Styckx, you're raising the bar on me again for my repaints (at this rate I will never release anything).

BTW that was a compliment. *!!wink!!*

I think I said something like that when I say one of his kodachrome repaints... and he promptly stopped working on it *!sad!*

@styckx

I was wondering what video card you are using? I think you said that you had a triplehead 2go monitor rig setup as well, but I notice that you have anti aliasing in your screenies.

Just curious,
~Rich

oh Beautiful job on that old horse, btw. Inspiring!

That looks like something I would see down here in the "Alameda Corradore" but in SP livery (BNSF never bothered to repaint them, just switchers, right?) "Gang Bangers" tag everything they can down here. !*not-ok*!

But, the artwork on yours is miles above what the scum bags down here do. Nice job. !!*ok*!!

I don't use triplehead 2 Go. I have two ati 5870's in Crossfire and use an ati eyefinity group to display over 3 monitors for a total screen resolution of 5760x3240. With Railworks I typically only play on one monitor and use 4x SuperSampling AA. On 3 monitors I have to tone it down to multisampling. A lot of other games I use all 3 all the time, like Grid 3 for example runs awesome on 3 monitors with all the eyecandy and AA.

I considered triplehead 2 Go but it had too many downfalls to justify the price. It is good though if you don't have the cash on hand to do triple monitors correctly.

For my triple monitor set up I use a utility called Display Fusion.
