VRC is really stepping their game up in this. Another great work of art! I was wondering when the C30-7 would be announced!

The 2-bay hoppers and 100T coal hopper look great! Can't wait to see some repaints of those alone!

Very nice model, I hope sometime soon there will be a C30-7 in BN paint with and without ditchlights

The engine looks great! Would DTG consider adding an orange CSX ballast hopper to the pack? Considering that CSX C30-7s last years in service they were on ballast trains, and we already have the car in the game, it would be more than suitable. Regardless, I look forward to running this engine. !!*ok*!!

This is a beauty. Will be a well worthwhile addition. What's that ballast hopper look like anyway?

From around 2000-2005, the remaining C30-7s on CSX's roster were placed on MOW and Ballast Service all along the East Coast. Since that's about half or most of their time in YN2 Paint, I think a ballast car would be a nice addition to the locomotive.

Also, the ballast car came in a few different NS packs, HN SD40, SD70Vol.2, Heritage Packs, and the Miami Palm Beach Route.

Sorry for highjacking the thread! Just a suggestion. !*cheers*!

Volume 2 does not have a ballast car, all I remember is that it has a black BNSF swoosh ACF 3-bay covered hopper. Probably is best to use the Miami version as the C30-7 will be most used there. The AC6000 pack features a variant of the MOW hopper in a dark grey livery and the CSX logo.

I'm questioning why Jerry hasn't said a word on this topic. !*roll-laugh*!
