No, it isn´t. Yours was my case. I bought it a few days after the free download release. And I did it in US Amazon, not in Steam.
I suggest don´t miss more time on that and place a ticket to support. However do something else before: check if the SD60M DLC is listed in your Library with "the same date of your TS2016 purchase" (not the date of the SD60M download). Look there if it shows and if it does, then it may be a file verification problem.

There's no sign of it anywhere. In the DLC list (in the properties tab in Steam), there's nothing at all with SD60 in the name. I also searched the entire Assets folder for *SD60* and it returned nothing. I did place a ticket a few days ago and this morning I got a silly reply giving the standard response about how the free content is only for users who've registered. I've replied pointing out that I did register - on the same day as TS2015 was upgraded for free to TS2016, and that I do receive the newsletters, and that I did receive the code for the free UP Boxcar. It's as if they've lost my registration. Anyway, I'm waiting for them to reply to my reply.

The SD60M got installed on my computer 17th Oct. but when I scroll through my downloads on Steams Library page it says it was installed on Sept. 18th.

It is dated Sep.18 in the Steam Library page because the loco was added to the Steam Sub of Ts2016 Steam Edition.

I registered with the free upgrade, then later bought the full TS2016. I never got the UP boxcar but the SD60 came through for me. Dunno if this information will be helpful but I reckoned I'd post it in case someone found it so.

I purchased TS2016 Steam Edition back on Sept 17th and immediately registered my copy for the TS Rewards program. I never received any confirmation email back from DTG. And I never received any bonus or reward content.

I just got a reply to my support desk ticket that I wrote last week asking where the h@#l my TS Rewards content might be. They responded that DTG has no record of my original registration. And as a consequence, they say that I have missed my opportunity to receive any TS Rewards bonus content that has been released to this point.

I now realize I just got the Royal Shaft from DTG and I never will be able to get my earned bonus content. I was cheated for making my early purchase. What a GIP!!!

Maybe that's what happened to me - I too registered the day TS2016 was released.

That's right. You only have to have purchased TS2016 Steam Edition to get the SD60M, which is free content. Nothing to do with registering that's why the flow chart doesn't mention it. That's a different story. Go look on DTGs FB page or read in the Steam forums.

I wish people would learn to read things properly before posting. Doesn't just happen here but on all TS forums I visit. Make sure of your facts. That's how the rumour started about the Unreal version coming out this year which it isn't. Maybe next year or the year after.

That's right. You only have to have purchased TS2016 Steam Edition to get the SD60M, which is free content. Nothing to do with registering that's why the flow chart doesn't mention it. That's a different story. Go look on DTGs FB page or read in the Steam forums.

So DTG support haven't a clue what they're talking about. It was the chap from DTG who told me I had to be registered (after I'd already told him I am).

Dear Mike,

Free content is given to those who have signed up for TS Rewards.

When launching TS 2016 a dialogue box can be filled out with your name, e-mail address, and date of birth.

If you chose for this box to "Not Display Again", it would not have appeared since.

Once this is filled out, when we release free content, you will receive an email with details of the content we have given you.

If you are not registered for TS rewards I can set an account up for you. We will need the following details:

-First Name
-Last Name
-Email Address
-Date of Birth

Once we have received this information and entered you in the system you will receive a confirmation email.

Unfortunately none of the TS Rewards can be retroactively granted and therefore any rewards given out prior to your registration will not be available.
