Thanks. Looking forward to this loco.

You know If the advanced Braking script will be used, including the bailing off animation?

Did you also create the SD45?
We could use a proper DRGW version, headlights, snowplow and all.

This means you're one step closer to releasing your loco?

Some final check marks *!!wink!!* since your YouTube videos show an unfinished model:
Does it have traction motors in the trucks?
Is the snowplow at the correct height?
Does it have Soldier Summit snow effects like the SD40-2T?
Does it have the Soldier Summit advanced braking, like the SD40-2T?

Answers to these questions determine a full price buy for me, a buy in a later sale or no buy at all.

Why don't you wait until you can see the pictures of it and stop asking all these silly questions. Give the guy a break OK?

They use the funeral dirge as background intro music, how comforting. Otherwise a quite informative video that answered some of my questions. Slick operator at the controls, who tries to follow US rules. Live and unedited broadcast it was?

Some quotes:
" the game fundamentally doesn't support mirrors, so they're there for effect "
" the video shows the pre-release model"
" does it have snow effects? I don't think so, but I don't know for sure"

so summing up my questions:
Traction motors: yes in the front truck, in the rear truck they appear to be the wrong way round?
Plow at the correct height: yes
No confirmation of advanced braking scripts, though the "direct" indication gives away the 26L positions aren't used

Other observations:
no dynamic brakes current shown in the HUD
no moving yank handles on the wiper motors
DTM uses lots of switches for many lights
locomotive sound appear to be good and change when doors/windows are opened
shown scenario has nice detail, that rockslide!
SS included cars have no numbers and DRGW reporting marks seem in the wrong font but that no fault of DTM.

All in all, I think I'll buy this one, it isn't any worse than other DRGW locos.

We appreciate all comments on the locomotive.
We worked very hard for his DLC.
It is very important the feedback from users.
Once the DLC to be released in Steam, report bug for possible patch.

My pleasure Martin. The locomotive does look good, that's for sure. The many DTM special features are nice too. I think only Lord Mannu does the moving brake cylinders?

Do you have to do all the sounds and physics yourself or will DTG kit the bare locomotive up for you?

The video says it is the pre-release model, that probably means it is closed up/finished for release soon, unless DTG finds something that is positively broken?
This means all of our findings have to reported and we can only hope/pray/wish to die for a patch later. We'll have to wait what DTG does with them.

Finally, thank you for reaching out to us, it can't always be easy when criticism is involved. In the end, you'll learn from it and we leave with a sense of participation in the final product.

Hi again.
The animations of windows, doors and cylinders have seen only the DTM locomotives. maybe I'm wrong, but were the first to add this animations in the sim.
Unfortunately the locomotive is now ready for release and leave no us to do more adjustments for now.
You think that for every adjustment we do, DTG has to retest the locomotive to approve the work.
To avoid this, we try to go posting and development work to prevent future bug.
In this case, the locomotive SD40 to find in another post, is under development and may make any necessary adjustments before sending DTG.
We take care to do all the work. The core of the simulator does the rest.
Finally. Our objective is to be as accurate mostly in each model and to outdo with each product.
Greating
