Siemens SD160 LRV

Unread postby TheRailfan98 » Wed Jul 01, 2015 12:24 am

So myself and a few friends of mine are working on a freeware route (details to be announced soon *!!wink!!* ) which will be including the UTA Trax light rail system in Salt Lake City, UT. We've decided to possibly include a Siemens SD160 LRV (not to be confused with the earlier SD100) for AI and if anyone wants to run Trax ops. None of us know 3D modelling let alone creating a locomotive for Railworks yet, so I figured I'd post a friendly request if anyone is interested to build this simple LRV. I would also like to repaint it for a possible RTD Denver light rail project I'm planning for the future, so blank textures would be helpful if included. I have found technical data and my friend and I can take plenty of reference shots of the units. If anyone is interested or willing feel free to reply or PM me about it. Here's a couple shots:

Thanks for any help,

There is this: http://www.justtrains.net/product/u-bahn-frankfurt or http://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info. ... leid=27013
Not sure if they would be of any use to you until such time what your looking for is built.

I do have the Croydon Tram and was probably going to use it as a sub-in for now, I'll look into the U-Bahn trams further as well. I may go ahead and try learning 3D modeling and making a Railworks engine later on if nobody builds this though *!!wink!!* Thanks for the help!

It's not exact but it could be a good stand in.
