Trains in Railworks

Unread postby NewEnglandCentral » Fri Oct 17, 2014 1:10 pm

Hi Guys
So I'm kind of confused. I've seen many pics of trains in Railworks that are by Jointedrail but after research I found they never said anything about them. I've been dying for that YN3 GP38 CSX everyone says is from JR but I can't find it anywhere. Can anyone please explain this to me? Thanks!

I doubt if you have seen any stuff from Jointed Rail in Railworks since they build for another sim. Where did you think you saw this?

Theres a video on YouTube called Railworks: A Look At Ann Arbor Freeware and in it has a few GP38s that are supposedly from Jointedrails...If you could lead me to that loco I'd greatly appreciate it!

This is the GP-38 by Justin Cornell, who is with Jointed Rail.

There are two different Ann Arbor paint schemes in the library here using the payware one from RSC.

With research all I could find were Ann Arbor Railway GP38-2s which is probably what you meant. I'm looking for the Geeps in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEfhJ8yMrAI (Skip to about 3:27 and you'll see a GATX, CSX and NS trio. I just want the CSX and GATX)

Justin's freeware models are in older BNSF with a nose headlight, and on Digirails you can find Southern and Norfolk Southern high hood / long hood forward units.

DTG's pack includes both a BNSF geep in the wedge scheme with a nose headlight, and a BN version with a cab headlight and a working beacon. It's one of DTG's better DLCs. !!*ok*!!

Thanks for your help! It's really now just down to that CSX paint....Where is that thing? Just like on Obo's catalog, nobody knows where that Geep 38 YN3 livery is either !*hp*!

Oh God have my eyes been killing me or what... !*roll-laugh*!
From that angle I thought it was a GP38. I was confused on that number too because SD40s are in the 8000s...Oh well I'm in dire need of one of these YN3 GP38s as I am building a route so can anyone lead me in the right direction Thanks!

You show me you are serious about a route and we'll see about getting you a paint job.

Well I was just making a personal route of my hometown and wasn't going to release it (because I don't know how) but I might consider it now.
I'm really early on in progress so you might not think it's complete... I'll show you screenshots if you still want to see them. I just need the CSX YN3 GP38 and who knows maybe the Boxcar logo as well...for the JCornell model. (I don't have the RSC one)
