Anyone have a good 3rd Gen K5HL? I would want to use it on my BNSF Gevo's.

A little education from a horn toting rail.
There are no "generations" of K horns.
Your "first Gen" is a K5HL with two piece 1L bell, they're the mellow sounding ones.
Your "second Gen" or "K5HLL"s are K5HLs with one piece 1Ls. They have that more rough discordant sound.
The "third Gen" like the new BNSF 8200s and the like are getting are true K5HLLs (a.k.a K5HLB). The extra L comes from a 3L ( 3B) bell taking place of the standard "3" bell.

Yeah so does anyone have a K5HLL (true K5HLL)?

Also they do have different Gens, they dont have it on Leslies, but for K horns yes, because the 1st one was the early K5HL with the mellow sound, 2nd was the Mid K5HL, then the 3rd Gen, or the lastest kind of K5HL/K5HLL.

You're going to argue this with someone who collects horns. Alrighty then.

Just like how you don't know anything about how there are not "generations" to K horns.

If I may point out, you seem to be the one arguing with an expert on the subject. So, yes, it's probably a good thing if you stop. *!!wink!!*
