It'd be nice if they'd give me a license for 3DSMax *!lol!* I've only got 3DCrafter (much cheaper!) so there's nothing I could do with their source files anyway ... pity though.

I didn't know that! I've got some RSC stuff in .igs (couplings and crew figures) but I had no idea I could edit them in Crafter! I'll give that a go.

mdurdan wrote:Yes you go to "import, trainworks, IGS" then you go to your source folder in railworks (or wherever your source files are) and you select the file there. Then you have to convert the textures to BMP and add them on in the side panel (shown in picture below)

If you need help shoot me a PM or post back here and I'll reply quick !!*ok*!!

Thanks Mike ... I've never used that panel before (never had any need to). I'll try it out later on, when I've finished doing this pesky injector water valve I'm working on at the moment.

Nice video and fantastic work on the whistle - my neighbours are going to end up hating me !*roll-laugh*!

Now, if we could just return Cheyenne and points west to their 1950's glory...

Thanks Grant :D

I know, when she passes under the bridge, the noise is deafening! (I made it like that on purpose)

I feel like doing some screenshots somewhere different, for a change - I saw a video of 844 going through Donner Pass, maybe I'll try that.

She is a huge engine and the ground literally shakes as it passes...

I have been lucky enough to have followed 844 on a couple of trips in the US - 1997 the last run over Tennessee Pass and up Soldier Summit in Utah and in 2000 the Democratic Convention Special. Great times. Looking forward to having her stretch her legs up Sherman *!lol!*

!!*ok*!!

I've got a home theatre dolby 5.1 sound system set up on my PC, with a powered woofer *!twisted!* Maybe I'll treat the neighbours to a few blasts before I leave here for good at the end of June (they've woken me up enough times flushing the toilet or taking a shower at 3am).
