Stopping in Waterton for water and fuel...

Pere Marquette 1225 isn't famous yet in this 1950s-era shot -- that will happen later. For now it's just one of several PM Berks, numbered 1201 through 1239, that you might soon be seeing on the RW&A or on one of your other favorite routes.

Aside from the lettering, the tube-steel pilot and extended smoke-box lagging differentiates this version of the G-TraX Berkshire from the Nickel Plate ones. Bob will offer this as an RW&A add-on along with several scenarios. As with the RW&A route, all proceeds go to support this web site.

there is a distinct possibility that there maybe a fight as to which becomes my favourite route - RWA or VNHRR *!lol!* Love the steam facilities...

Just to be fair, the VNHRR also includes steam engine facilities.
