Track Problem

Unread postby micaelcorleone » Thu Feb 03, 2011 12:41 pm

And yet another problem with my new route. **!!bang!!** !*hp*! Slowly I get really angry with this game. *!twisted!*

Situation: I set up my route, Terrain is there, Markers are there.
I do this: I lay track, only a small section ( I used Scalerail)
This is what happens: I go into the scenario editor or I closse the world editor and reload my route and in both cases the game crashes and this message appears in windows (see attachement).

I also tried to lay the default tracks, but in this case the game even crashes when I just select US Mainline in the left flyout. !*hp*!

I don't know what to do anymore. I hope you have an answer.

Does this happen after laying only one single length of track? No juctions, no switches, no attachments.... just a piece of track. Also, try this with the Bar-SanBar track and trackrule.

Go to the routes scenario folder and delete the Initial Save file, should fix it up.

Hey,
Thank you for your post. But what do you mean exactly with the save file?
The one file for the scenario? Wouldn't that delete the whole scenario?

I think once you have a Scenario created it is saved with the BIN and xml files.
This happened to me before and I read on a different forum that deleting the IntialSave bin file would fix this, so that's what I did and I didn't get that error again. I was checking other scenarios and a lot of others don't have the IntialSave file
