It appears that Smokebox's Connie got packed up in a .AP file as well with this latest Steam Update. Either that or I could have missed it before back in December 10th, 2013 - \Assets\Smokebox\Consolidation\ConsolidationAssets.ap compressed file.

And I concur that the "Munich to Augsburg" route got packed into \Content\Routes\00000035-0000-0000-0000-000000002012\MainContent.ap compressed file with this latest Steam Update as well.

You missed it. Mine was an AP file when I checked several days ago.

Since I'm making a route that uses "Munich to Augsburg" assets and is selected in the object filter ,what should I do before I continue it in route editor?Unpack with RW_Tools or can I just use it leaving it as an ap file?Any detailed help appreciated.

I think you have to unpack the .ap to be able to use the assets somewhere else.

Thanks, how about if I use a backup of my Munich to Augs from before (NON AP) when on steam offline and replace it with the AP version before going online with steam.

I certainly don't know this for sure but it's unlikely that they changed any assets and if they did as long as it has the same file name (most likely) you'll just see the new version. It shouldn't cause any problems I don't think. You know the drill tho...backup, backup, backup.

This isn't true - if you are using TS2014 to create a route then it will be able to see the assets inside the any .ap file. The only time you need to unpack a .ap file is if you want to use RW_Tools to swap assets.

My railway photos are back - you can access them from this thread viewtopic.php?f=24&t=21667a . Lots of UK steam and early diesels from the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Yeah, that seems right because it also uses Pac surfliner, which is already "APed" and it works fine, just if M to A is changed to APs will the parts I've made before it became an AP file work. It's just that the RE is somewhat quirky so I like to field these questions in the forums first.
