Efficiency Percentage

For AI trains, will AI trains go exactly track speed if efficiency is 100%? At the default value of 75%, is it only going 75% of track speed?

Pretty much thats what it means. Changing the percentage will also change the arrival times. I have done a few timetabled PAX scenarios and the editor did not like my times. When I made the player percentage %100 the editor quit balking and took my times. Otherwise the scenario will not end until you hit the dispatcher's time. That could be 20 minutes or so.

When doing a timetabled scenario, be aware that the timetable editor, who should recalculate the arrival times when you change the percentage in an instruction, does not.

The workaround is to force it to recalculate by checking off, then on again, the "timetabled" box in the instruction. At each step you have to wait until it's finished updating, a few seconds usually.
