soon

I think all payware developers should refrain from using the word "soon" on all posts since it obviously has no serious meaning. Come to think of it I think all freeware guys should heed the same advice. Just say it's being developed.

Very wise. If I could change the AC44 thread title, I would.

I have. And was told it couldn't be done. You can change it to "under cunstruction" instead of "coming soon". We can now return to topic! *!!thnx!!*

Do you propose to also prohibit use of other words that specify an indefinite time ie,

when its ready, before long, in a short time, in due time, in short order, shortly, when finished, when I can, when I have time, in the near future, etc?

I'm not proposing anything for cripe sakes. I was suggesting that if folks don't want to be badgered about when stuff is going to be done and raise false hopes they shouldn't say soon when it's months and months away. If you want to argue with me about nothing let me give you some advice. It's not a good idea.

Who's being badgered? I haven't noticed any recent complaints of items to be released "soon".
