Announcing Searchlight Simulations!!

Unread postby 5292nate » Fri May 24, 2013 3:45 pm

Hi all.

Please regard this thread is a formal announcement. I am here to announce Searchlight Simulations! Many of you have heard the name, due to the surfacing of a facebook photo, and a subsequent thread made here. Well, today we are making it official! I Nathan DeFayette, have partnered with my best friend, Kevin Schulz (bnsf subdivision) to form a developing company for Train Simulator 2013! We are about the development of truly high quality assets for the game, Train Simulator 2013. Many of you have seen the AC4400CW picture floating around on facebook. Yes, that is ours. It is actually being chiseled away at, as I type this message! It will be a highly detailed model, and will hopefully be highly anticipated. In the future, we hope to bring many more things to the table, such as stunning US routes, and other high-quality US diesel locomotives and freight cars. We have heard the requests for US routes and rollingstock, and have decided to step up to the plate, and deliver. So, like us on facebook, and prepare to be amazed! https://www.facebook.com/SearchlightSimulations There will hopefully be update photo's coming by the end of next week. For now, you can enjoy the images already on our facebook page. Feel free to respond to this thread and ask questions, as Kevin and I won't be far and will do our best to answer them!

Regards, !*cheers*!

Nathan DeFayette

Good news, Nate. There's always a need for new developers who will take interest in US rolling stock. Thanks for that. *!!thnx!!*
Do you have a plan to update those of us (and there are many...) who do not, and WILL NOT, use FB? The reasons are many, and it's not because we're Luddites. Maybe a few pix here at RWA once in a while? My **!!2cents!!**

Just curious.

Best,
Marc

So.

I wasn't away, but I spent most of my time in research for the engine. This is also not the actual "Work in Progress" Thread, but it's a little update to show everyone, what we've done so far. Pic's will be now posted more frequent, since the research process is finally done and I can start on the real modeling. Again thank's to everyone involved and have a nice weekend. !*salute*!
