Thank you for downloading the Amtrak 90208 NPCU Repaint/Physics Mod.

In order for this locomotive to work, you must have the California Zephyr F40PH from Steam.

For a complete list of the changes and problems, take a look at the 'Changelog' file. It will clarify what makes this repaint different from the default F40.

Installation:

Step 1:

Move 'Amtrak 90208' to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\RSC\F40PHPack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\F40PH

Step 2:

Copy 'f40ph.GeoPcDx' from \RailVehicles\Diesel\F40PH\AmtrakPhaseIII

Next, paste it into RailVehicles\Diesel\F40PH\Amtrak 90208

Step 3:

Move the 'NPCUSimulations' folder to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\RSC\F40PHPack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\F40PH

Step 4:

Move the 'Audio' folder to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\RSC\F40PHPack01

This will give you an accurate horn/bell for the unit, and it will NOT replace the default F40PH sounds.

Step 5:

In order for the ditch lights and decals to work, move the 'Assets' folder to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks

In the scenario editor, click on 'Fey96' in the right-hand flyout, then click the 'Decals' checkbox to enable the decals.

If everything was done correctly, you're good to go!

The unit will show up in-game as follows:

NPCU Amtrak 90208

NPCU Amtrak 90208 [NC]

Note: since this is modded with actual NPCU physics, an additional locomotive will always be required for the unit to move.
