As a Christmas gift for your enhanced enjoyment in any route and scenarios, here is the "UK Steam Loco Enhancement Pack".
You don't need do worry about previously backup existing assets and folders, the pack is "easy to use", at any time you can easy and safely install or de-install the product.

Content - all RSC default (folder Kuju) UK Steam Locomotives:
Black 5 BR Black
Black 5 BR Green
Black 5 BR Rusty
7F BR Black
7F BR Prussian Blue

Features:
1) Added (ALTHOUGH NOT REALISTC): Headlights (much brighter), Rearlights, Numbers Display lights.
2) Added Cab Soft Light (at every weather and time of day).
3) New Cab Views, a bit leftwards and backwards: From inside the cab you can now see the track ahead and more of the instruments (both left and right hands), and the firebox (right hand, once you close F4 or use F4 HUD Mod by Marleyman). Also prevents you from catching a cold. And most important: Driving inside cab you feel the cab sway (in head out view not).
4) Three new slightly modified versions of original (by Maestro) standart steam scenarios (in Forest Land Route), now at night as well.
5) One freeroam scenario "Show Case UK Steam Locos Black 5 and 7F" (in Castle Rock Route) to you test and feel the power of our pack.
6) One new slightly modified version of original RSC standart steam scenario "Bruise and Battered" (7F Black, in Bath Green Park to Templecombe Route), now at night as well. And also a litthe change in order to let you drive the "broken" pilot engine (Black 5 Rusty) in the second part of scenario.

BE AWARE OF THIS IMPORTANT REMARK: THE FEATURES OF #1 WAS PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS NON REALISTIC, the steam headlights (as known as headcodes) don't project lights, they were used only for indication. The purpose of this pack, imbued with the Soul of Christmas at Christmas time, was just provide virtual lighting effects and stimulate real emotional good feelings in the users (a Christmas fantasy). Was never intendend to replicate prototypical lights intensity (if was the case the headlights of pack wouldn't be so much intense as they are, anyway).

So if you don't like projecting lights by headcodes you can alternatively: not install this pack, or install the pack though not turnning headlight (headcode) on, therefore you can play prototypically in the darkness (as usual, and real) though taking the advantages of the other new virtual features (Cab Views and Cablight).

First of all, if you didn't yet, unzip "UK Steam Loco Enhancement Pack v1-0" to your usual downloads' folder, then follow the instructions.

To INSTALL the pack:
1) Open the folder "UK Steam Loco Enhancement INSTALL v1.0";
2) Execute the file "RW_AssetSetup.exe".

It's done!

If you have a low/medium machine and usually getting low fps running TS2012 with TSX On, you can try the following version of our Lightings: "Higher FPS". In this optional version, the light projected by headlight won't cast shadows, as normal headlight does. When not casting shadows the performance of computer (with TSX On) tends to be the same than using the default headlights (casting shadows). With this optional version doesn't matter if you turn headlight on/off, your fps tends to be the same. Try the "normal" version first, and only then the "Higher FPS" version.

To INSTALL the version "Higher FPS":
1) Open the folder "UK Steam Loco Enhancement INSTALL Higher FPS v1.0";
2) Execute the file "RW_AssetSetup.exe".

You are ready to go, with faster fps, though not casting shadows, remember it!

To DE-INSTALL the pack, and restore the RSC default assets:
1) Open the folder "UK Steam Loco Enhancement Restore Default v1.0";
2) Execute the file "RW_AssetSetup.exe".

********** EXTRA INSTALLING NOTES **********

DETAILED INSTALLATION GUIDELINES.

In case you are not used to TS2012 installing stuffs, here goes a notch by notch guide:

0) Close the game if it is running, it is recommended for precaution only.
1) Copy the file pack "UK Steam Loco Enhancement Pack v1-0.zip" to your usual download/install folder.
2) Unzip (be sure you unzipped indeed) the pack file. In Win 7 if you try to install when still zipped, you will recieve a screen message warning you to unzip before running the RW_AssetSetup.Exe, otherwise it won't work effectively.
3) Go to the "normal" (not zipped) folder "TaD UK Steam Loco Enhancement INSTALL v1.0".
4) Execute the RW_AssetSetup.exe (beware of problem described in #2 above).
5) Will show a screen with the path of your TS2012 (like "C:\Program Files (86)\steam\steamapps\common\railworks), check if it is correct, otherwise change it to your default path using the "......." buttom.
6) If Railworks path is correct, click the buttom "Install to Railworks". Then will open a MS-DOS black window saying the blueprints packs are being deleted. And finally a screen saying "Your package has been installed", click OK to finish.
7) Launch the game (.NET 4.0) and "Start Train Simulator 2012" (no need to clear cache, but you can, if you want), and go check the freeroam Show Case in Castle Rock Route.

ESPECIAL MANUAL INSTALLATION GUIDELINES.

Windows 7 have a feature to read the zipped files like if they were unzipped, but in fact they are still zipped. You can see pics files, read documents etc., but you CANNOT run any sort of install *.exe because it won't work. You will see the RW_AssetSetup.exe running with a sucessful message at the end, although in fact the pack wasn't installed correctly because it didn't get to copy the files into the \railworks folder.

Some Windows versions (including Win 7) have a limited number of characteres to be hold in the path name, and some install paths of game are long, causing for few users problem to install.
We have heard, as well, that some users are having problem to run some old versions of WinZip (for example) in Win 7.

If you are experiencing problems to install our pack, you can try these steps (alternatively, and only if normal installing failed).

To (re)INSTALL MANUALLY the pack:
0) Close the game if it is running, it is recommended for precaution only.
1) Open our normal (not zipped) INSTALL folder "UK Steam Loco Enhancement INSTALL v1.0".
2) Copy and paste the "railworks" folder of our pack into your "(....)\Steam\steamapps\common\" folder.
3) Launch the game (.NET 4.0) and "Start Train Simulator 2012" (no need to clear cache, but you can, if you want), and go check the freeroam Show Case in Castle Rock Route.
