Drop on by the blog, we have some more WIP screens. The 'New' style BNSF Swoosh (3001) will be a GP40-2R, the only one of the new scheme done on the -2s.

Everyone is working like mad to make these the most detailed models we can, and nearly the entire series of the GP40. It's fun, and somewhat frustrating at times.

VRC is my new favorite company! I look forward to purchasing the CSX pack(for the Chessie content, 1984 is my cut off date). It is so smart that you will be doing many variations with the basic mesh. Keep those updates coming!

I am trying to keep the updates to at least once a week. Pretty soon I will have some new stories to tell other than WIP.

Congrats on getting a CSX license. Is it really tough to to get one of those from them?

It wasn't any different than if you approach NS or BNSF (UP is a different story). I am not sure why others have not had success. Mind you I am not saying that they were giving it away. We did have to present them with pictures of our prototypes and explain what we were all about.

Hey Papa! Would that mystery livery by any chance be Family Lines?

So the SD would sound just like a GP?

Yep! She's an SDP40 with a 16-645E3 just like the GP40. It would be of the same quality, if not better than, the GP38-2s that RSC just released, but even better, because of the finer tuning I have done to even the GP38-2 control files.
