For those of you that few a little challenged on getting Krellnut's awesome sounds into your Sherman Hill route here's a auto install.

https://www.sugarsync.com/pf/D6076927_62669624_877793

Just unzip and run the rwp.
Enjoy.

If I can get to it I'll do a self installer for that tonight.

I hope you have better luck than me with getting the sounds to work on Portland Terminal, it seems much harder to do than in Sherman Hill.

That ones easy I thought. Copy Krellnuts Wagon Freight.proxyxml and paste to

" Assets\G-TraX\PortlandTerminal\Audio\RailVehicles\Wagons " folder. !**conf**!

I think it has to do with the path in the bin file. You may have to change it....correct me if I'm wrong.

Looking trough some of the bins of the cars. Most are pointing to the default location in kuju.

Code: Select all
<Provider d:type="cDeltaString">Kuju</Provider>
                                 <Product d:type="cDeltaString">RailSimulatorUS</Product>
                              </iBlueprintLibrary-cBlueprintSetID>
                           </BlueprintSetID>
                           <BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">Audio\RailVehicles\Wagons\Wagon Freight Sound.xml</BlueprintID>

P.S. I could have edit this some time back and don't remember. !*don-know!*

This should make good sounds on Portland Terminal. Just take these and back up the existing folders by naming them whatever .xxx and then put the new ones in there. Tested and working for me.
They are in railworks\assets\G-Trax\PortlandTerminal\Audio\RailVehicles

One replaces bogies and one replaces wagons.

Enjoy.

Found out what I was doing wrong, I pasted the Bin Files V2 into the WJ Sounds folder and viola!, the sounds work.

Good for you. This is probably the best upgrade to realism brought into the game in the last year. My patches assume that you have it working on the Kuju rolling stock, they are not a stand alone addon.
